I agree, a lovely weed and easy to remove where not wanted, but makes
a great groundcover.

Gerry, there are a *lot* of species of Pulmonaria.   All are
European.
'Mrs. Moon' is P. saccharata and endemic to France and Italy and
found in Belgium, but not native there.

Various species are found all over Europe and up into Latvia and
Estonia and other countries that used to be part of the USSR.

An extraordinarily useful (if tedious to sort out because of having
to continually look at their key) source for where a lot of plants
are native is the Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh Flora Europaea
database, which is searchable via family, genus or species.  If your
plant isn't listed there, it's likely from the far east somewhere:-)
