Hello Nancy,
    I suppose my first questions in reply would be how long have you had your
plants in your garden and do you know if they were seedlings or divisions? Mine
are located on the north side of a hill, under dogwoods, backed by Cimicifuga,
mixed with hosta, lady ferns, trilliums, creeping forget-me-nots and assorted
stuff. Never fail to bloom for me. Mine are divisions and have been there for at
least 6 years now. Best I can remember they did not the first couple of years
although they were divisions.
