Arnhild,
I've got some in a south corner up against the house - been there for
nearly 20 years. Somewhat overhung by large oak, but until the
Pieris in front of them grew up enough to shade them pretty much
completely, they suffered winter burn almost every year.
BUT, I am gardening in an entirely different latitude than you. My
sun is much hotter than yours as I am closer to the equator.
If your plant is small, you might as well move it, because they do
tend to suffer more in winter in exposed spots. However, I'd bet
that you could leave it and it would grow because of where you
garden....
