Re: Getting seeds in Asia???

Thanks for response to you :

... Robin, I may contact Heronswood - that will be a good idea - I got
their catalog from year 2000 from another garden friends so I will find the
adresses I need there. Yes, I can understand your wish to go there too -
the old silk road along coutries in Central Asia was not easy to go to just
few years ago back in Soviet time

... Walt, thank you for offering help about contact regarding Rhododendron
seeds - can I save it for a while and come back to you about it later,
please? First I need to learn and sort out more what I want to sow of Rhod.
- they germinate so easily I think? - at least some I tried a few years
ago did so. I even are not sure if they give a large variation in the
offspring or are true to motherplants etc ... maybe you or someone else
here know?

... Margaret - I will forward to my son your message .. and take care of
all the others as well --- he is supposed to send the seeds by and by as
he finds them etc via airmail - I do not believe it is not a good idea he
should store them in his baggage. They are going to Samarkand too ... may
find a nice market there :). I wonder if they get seed of neem tree in
India, and if that will do well in a heated greenhouse here north?

I am open to more comments :)
