Although this is off topic, I have been meaning to report that the rugosa
rose 'Frau Dagmar Hartopp'is blooming and we love her. The color is
wonderful and the fragrance is divine!
I am curious how hardy this rose is. It is such a good one for a sunny
spot in the landscape--compact, pretty, and completely untroubled by
disease. Will members of the group who grow 'Frau Dagmar' north of me
please report in? The one with the lowest hardiness zone number wins the
prize.
