HI, Y'all,

Years ago, I had a friend who owned a quarter horse farm. He generously
allowed us to shovel all the manure we could take... We all know the
benefits of this valuable material so maybe a scouting trip to a local
farm or the zoo ( elephant poop) might be just the ticket. Call the zoo
before making the trip.....

Indiana is full of glaiated fine silty clayey soil.  It is MISERABLE to
work with as most Hoosiers will attest. Mulch, sand, composted manure
will work wonders.  My soils are living, breathing proof..  Good luck!
