Apologies that my message to Phyllis went out to the entire list...
At any rate, you may or may not be aware that Shadegardens has a
web site. The URL for the list is
http://www.lehnherr.com/shadegardens
The primary purpose of this site is to let people know which commands
should be used to join the discussion list, the list's guidelines, all
the commands you can use to interact with the LISTSERV, and a link to
the archives of the list, a service that is provided by Mallorn.
There are also several other pages.
Links: includes links to nurseries, shadegarden members' web sites,
plant societies, and other resources
Calendar: upcoming events that may be of interest to Shadegardeners
Gallery: images of plants (majority scanned by Bill Nash, thanks Bill!)
and links to other sites that have a collection of images
Gardening Tips: articles and links to articles relevant to
shadegardening
Because of other commitments, I've been in the background for most of
this spring, but now have some time to work on the site. So, if you
have any information (links or articles) that you would like to contribute
to the web site, please feel free to send them to me at the following
address (note this address is used just for web page e-mail):
lesa@mailbox.mail.umn.edu
If you have a nursery, but don't have a web page, I'll be glad to put
together a web page for info about your nursery so that people who
visit the page can contact you for catalogs, price lists, etc. (I'd
like to keep this type of page fairly simple.)
Thanks in advance for your participation,
Lesa von Munkwitz-Smith
