[SG] Thank you all was Re: [SG] A Plant Search

John, great recommendations, as they all have been. As always I
am really impressed with the breadth of knowledge this group
displays. And I am deeply appreciative of all the suggestions
you have made.

I'm partly undecided, partly I needed to do something
immediately, since this is a commercial planting. So I put in
more of the variegated solomon's seal to fill the space for now.

Even if these plants don't appear in that garden ... I expect
they will appear in mine. <G> I had no idea that any Aralias
were hardy here .. I'm still not sure it would be in my very
borderline garden, but they are right up there on my all time
favorites list.

BTW, the Gunnera is an absolute knockout for a tropical garden.
You only need to have the space and scale (it can easily
overwhelm). I had to leave one at my last residence. I'm
trying to work one in here.

So to you John, Diana, Gene, Shishi, Janet, Clyde and everyone
else who contributed to this thread: Thanks a million. You've
been a terriffic help.
Regards,
Jaime
