<< Just wanted to thanks everyone for the warm welcome. I do have a question
about hostas. Please forgive my ignorance here but I don't even know the
variety. They are big and beautiful and all green but I noticed lately that
they
are getting spotches of pale white areas on the leaves. It almost looks like
the
overspray from spray paint (which of course it isn't). I would like to know
if
this is caused by insects or disease (a fungus perhaps) And most of all what
should I do about it?? I would appreciate any help anyone can offer on this.

Hi,
I had the same thing on my plants.Didn't know what the heck it was.
What I did was wash it off.I use a 20 gal. sprayer, put 1 cup lemon
dish soap,1 cup brown mouthwash and fill with water. Then just spray
plants. The spots are gone and haven't come back.I do wash my plants
every week.
