The biggest problem for me is the poison ivy! Any quick-fix suggestions?
Round-up. Really.
I have just read a long piece of poison ivy on the Web, though I don't
remember where it was. Specifically, they recommended that you DON'T burn
it, and they said that every little piece of root left in the ground will
grow a new plant. If you do go out and dig, take your work clothes
straight to the washer, and don't touch anything. The allergen in poison
ivy -- urushiol -- stays on surfaces like your work gloves pretty much
forever.
Remember what Homer Simpson said (and this might be the only gardening
advice Homer has *ever* said): "Leaves of three, Let it be! Leaves of
four, Eat some more!"
Karen. [who doesn't actually *take* this advice]
