Hi. I was wondering if someone could tell me about the flowers and foliage
and growth habit of the following shade-tolerant plants, which I am growing
but which have not yet flowered in my garden:
Tanacetum macrophyllum--It has foliage like a royal fern, and grew about
four feet high for me last summer. The flower buds got blasted by cold
weather last spring; now quite a few have formed.
Aster macrophyllus--I know that the lavender flowers are small. I was
wondering if the plant falls over like A. cordifolius and divaricatus.
Salvia koyamae--Just got these from Plant Delights, and they have nice bold
foliage, but I haven't a clue as to what the flowers of these woodland
plants look like.
Much thanks,
Nancy S.
