The hummers that we have in the southeast (Ruby Throat) winter in South America and Latin America.

I haven't changed the mix for a month--no wonder I wasn't getting any
hummers!
I have my feeder hanging in a tree too.It was about 3/4 depleted of mix--and
then nothing! I shall now change the mix every other day.
