Roundup's effects take a while to kill a plant, but it's safe to plant in
the area you sprayed after a day.
But I would like to add a question: Roundup doesn't always kill
things--violets seem to be 90% immune, and an onion grass I mentioned a few
months ago (which has bulbs underground) were not dented or daunted. I'm
curious about these limitations.

Subject: [SG] Roundup question
Hi, all, from a quiet lurker.....I have a question and am sure that I can
find an
answer here. I have an area that was covered by mulch, but now all kinds of
weeds
are growing up through the mulch. I plan to turn this area into a garden
next
spring, and was wondering how to get rid of the weeds. Someone suggested
Roundup,
but I wanted to be sure that it was safe for future planting....or if anyone
has an
alternative suggestion, that would be most welcome, too.....thanks.
