Arnhild, you would think so, but not necessarily so. The local nurseries
have for the past 3 or 4 years been pushing PJM Rhododendrons in our area
of northeast Nebraska. Some have survived and some have not. The
survivors do not look very happy. Best to look at gardens in the area to
see what grows well.
