This is the best question on the subject. ARGS is quite technical not
addressing gardeners who do not wish to backpack China or count the
chromosomes in a crocus. Fine Gardening continually deals with the new
gardener making repetitive reading for most serious gardeners. Somewhere in
the middle would be inviting with technical and elemental writing allowed as
well.
