Hi Eleanor,
I purchased my plant of D. 'Briggs Moonlight' from Wayside Gardens this past
spring, so I will be watching it carefully to see if it can survive our
winter. Wayside lists it as hardy in Zone 4-7. The plant is so lovely, I
know I will try again should this one falter. I will not keep trying,
however, as I did with D. 'Carol Mackie'. I lost so many of dear 'Carol', I
am embarrassed to type the number(s). I saw it growing here in Indpls., so I
knew it could survive, and I was determined. My lone survivor is now close to
4 feet. This spring I found it leaning and starting to open up. It is now
strongly staked, trimmed, and weak stems supported. Some effort, but well
worth it.
