Hi Bobbi,
Two names get used most often on the Amelanchier in this area. One most
often used is Serviceberry, pronounced Sar* ves*berry. Shadblow is from the
bloom period happening the same time as shad go on ripple to spawn. The
names of the two shrubs I have is up in the attic in the old catalogs I
save when ordering. I will try and find time to get up there and look for
the names for you... and for myself.
