Re: Using compost

Gee, Gene,

My lament, too! I planned to have dug and planted a sun garden (in
reality a part shade garden, but in comparison to what I have, its my sun
garden) in time for early summer blooms. But I had to dig it deep to get
all the rocks out, and then I wanted to remove some of the clay so there
would be room for the composted leaves that will replace some of that
clay. Well, maybe next summer blooms, ya think? Right now its just a pit
that fills with water whenver it rains, and of course takes forever to
dry out, being clay. I'm rushing ot get it done so I can empty my last
year's leaves out of my composting spot, to fill with this year's catch.
