Re: Info on Hawthorn 'Winter King'

Hello Bobbi,
I have a 6' Winter King to be delivered next month for planting. Landscaper is
bringing it down from Indy. no mention is have been made of the scent. We are
getting this one for winter color and to feed the birds. Just planted a Sourwoods
last month and the little tree has now turned color. If you can have only three
trees, the sourwood has to be one of them. definitely a 3 season tree, relatively
slow grower and small in size at maturity... about 25 feet I am told. Be a long
time reaching that height.
