My main concern is whether they attack perennials - especially hostas and
US native woodland perennials. Yes, Kathy; if only we could get them to go
for the mulberry and extraneous maple seedlings; we all have a ton of those
to deal with each spring! On the subject of pests, at the beginning of
summer I heard of a beetle that threatened lilies (I don't remember if the
beetle itself caused the damage or if it spread a disease). What ever
happened with that? I have not heard any gardeners complain of lily problems.
