Neighbor has a very steep slope from his front lawn to sidewalk. (Glen Pether---that is American English for footpath.) The area is in shade most of the day---open shade. He does not want to plant vinca or ivy, but wants another type of evergreen groundcover. We are in Zone 5. Any suggestions? Is there a fast growing prostrate hemlock? Thanks, Clyde Crockett z5
