Introduction

Hello. My name is Brad Pierog and I live on the coast of Washington state,
kind of on the bubble between zones 7 and 8. I am trying to develop a shade
garden at the back of my yard. I have an area that was over grown with
salmonberries and blackberry briars, but that also contained several
attractive vine maples and wild crabapples. I have cleaned out the brush,
saved the maples and crabapples and planted several rhodies and a few
hostas. I have joined the list in hopes of learning what to do next. I know
I have a lot to learn, I hope I have a little to contribute. Thank you, Brad
