Re: [SG] Aconitums

Gene: Yes, I also grow many of the late A. carmichaelii cultivars and
they are glorious in the garden right now- with many frosts & some
snow behind them.

The type species actually blooms in summer, but the cultivars, like
"Barker's variety (among others) are very valuable for their late
blooming habit.

I have today sown all my Aconitum seed harvested to date, & sunk the
pots in my (sand) plunge bed, but had volumes of A. carmichaelii (the
species), A. septentrionale, and A. hemslyanum (a twiner) if you or
anyone else would like fresh seed. Even though I am in the business,
this is a free offer. Please e-mail me privately.
