Hi Everyone,
I need information on the Nikko Blue Hydrangea. I live in zone 4a and
have had
the hydrangea for 4 years. It totally dies down to the ground in
winter. Out of the
four years it only bloomed the summer of '97'. It was beautiful when in
bloom the flowers were huge and very blue. It only grows to about 1 1/2
ft tall.
Now shouldn't it get taller then that? Also how do I get it to bloom
again? Should it be planted where it does not get any direct sunlight?
Right now it is on the west side of the house and gets morning sun and
also some afternoon sun. We live in the middle of
the woods so we do not get really any full sun for a long period at a
time during the
day.
Thanks,
Vicky Cahanes
