Beth,
You might look for brush and poison ivy herbicides. Ortho and Spectracide
both make one. They are more effective on tough stuff than Round-up, but
it requires repeat spraying. If you have fairly good size small stumps, you
can bore holes in the stump and use some of the stump remover products in
combination with the brush killer.
