Hi Bill,
Just for your info--we have thibetanus in containers and in the ground--a
few maintained foliage through the fall but most lost it. The buds are
starting to swell at this time--the plants in containers are more advanced
even though they are in the same location. What information we've been able
to find and from our experience last season they could bloom as early as
late December but most likely in January. Would like to compare notes later
as your climate reaches broader extremes than ours.
