Onionish Grass

A couple of years ago, a patch of beautiful, thin, blue-green grass appeared
under one of our bushes.  I first noticed it in the winter, where it seemed
most delightful.

Well, that was then, this is now.  That stuff is *all over* in just about
every garden I have.  I don't even know how it gets around: I've never seen
it flower, let alone seed.  It certainly doesn't have runners 50 feet long.

How do I get rid of it???
