Bobbie here in zone 6.5, Mass.
Eupatorium grows wild here, in open fields, wet feet or not, and in a few
variations (checked the stem, leaves around the stem, etc, and the colors of
the pinkish/purplish flowers). It also grows in sun or shade to 7 ft tall.
Choc Eup is shorter growing to 5 ft in pure compost and 4 ft otherwise in a
3 yr clump. It is just starting to flower at this time of year and they are
creamy white.
Sun/part shade. In more shade the color is more green.
