The animal leaves large mounds on top of the ground, and when we can find the
tunnel underneath it is about 1-1/2 inches in diameter.
I'd love to know what this creature is, too. I've been finding these
mounds throughout my garden all summer and have lost a couple hostas
because of it. Is it a gopher? More importantly, what is the most
effective way to get rid of it?
