Bobbi,
I concur that the last feeding should be around July. But, I'd also add
that this genus is not noted for needing a lot of fertilizer. They aren't
heavy feeders and one really doesn't need to fertilize even yearly unless
the plants are looking poorly. I've got a lot of Rhodies and evergreen and
deciduous Azaleas and mine are lucky if they get one dose of azalea
fertilizer every couple of years or so. I've got some that I can't
remember the last time I fed them. If the soil is highly organic (which
they prefer) and they are well mulched, regular feeding just isn't
necessary. So, don't worry about it for this year :-)
