Hi
I would be interested, if anyone is going to talk about specific
cultivars, small leaved rhodies in other colors besides PJM. Hardy
zone 6. I like the color of the foliage of PJM and have used it just
for the rusty purple tones as background plants, being careful of not
planing things that jar the color even more. I used Purple Gem last
year and liked it. Found out about it too late to use in one place,
unless I want to move things. Now need some more, so thought I would
ask you knowledgable folk.
I have also been to Weston Nurseries - I think they started the PJM
types. They were not too helpful in the past, so have not gone there
again. And the ones that they sold me have not been that desirable
in characteristics (oh the bloom color nice, but leggy growth????).
I find that gardeners help each other a lot more than nursery folk do.
thank you
