Clyde: Thanks for the "vertical" ideas. Tall hostas are an excellent
suggestion. I already have quite a bit of northern sea oats (not invasive
for me, so far), and I've been drawn to carexes but I'm afraid they need a
lot of water. I can only provide average water (and sometimes less) to
anything.
Are there some that will thrive on less-than-moist conditions?
