Hi Clyde If you use TRIOX, be aware that it has a very long residual effect in the soil and it can remain active for at least one year. It will most likely kill whatever you plant there as well as what ever the spray lands on. I would recommend that for the erradication of such things like creeping ground covers that you use spray it with a mix of Round up concentrate and Trimec concentrate at a mixture of 3 oz of Round up and 1 oz of Trimec per gal. of water. Let the chemicals work they will kill whatever is exposed above the soil and whats below in about a couple of weeks. Now is a very good time to spray since the energy is mostly going down the stems and to the rhizomes for next years growth and the chemicals will translocate down along with them. After using these two chemicals you should wait at least 30 days before replanting. Gary Amber Wave Gardens Benton Harbor Mi. z6 amberwavegarden@webtv.net
