Hi; I noticed a home a few blocks from mine has Datura (probably
metalloides) growing with Cannas, Pennisetum, various Miscanthus, and some
smaller grasses; all are planted in a solid block about 10' X 5'. Wow!
What visual impact! The Datura is about 3' tall or so; white trumpets
about 8" long and dark blue-green foliage.
There are pictures of various Datura cultivars in Thompson and Morgan's
seed catalogue.
