Re: [SG] Wayside Gardens


I second Gene's sentiments. Wayside is a good place for a beginner, but as
you go on you can find cheaper, and better sources for most plants. I've
always had trouble with their shrubs--too small, and they're shipped
bareroot, which can be a problem if the weather is still cold in New York.
Fortunately, they've always been gracious about refunding money.
I did, however, decide this year to stop ordering from them. Am I the only
one who gets about six copies of the same catalog (sometimes with a
different cover) each season?
