Lynn, thanks very much for the post from your dear friend. Please tell her
for me that it turned me off from getting involved with antique iris which
I guess was what it was meant to do! Pardon me for asking how to get
starts of iris I am not worthy to have. If I sound grouchy, it's because I
always hate to see someone throwing cold water over an enthusiastic
novice, even if it's only myself!
She needn't worry about being diplomatic--she wasn't.

You may tell the lady who is inquiring about starts of two unknowns up

of Dr. Moody.
The problem with pictures on the webpage is that people who are otherwise
not very committed to the cause use them as a shopping catalog and start
expecting people to give them great rarities and it becomes diplomatically
difficult to tell them to go fall in love with something else a little
less obstruse.
