I am impudent to correct some your clasification of siberians.
I.pragmitetorum belongs to 40-chromosome group. It is species so far unknown
in cultivation also not found in native. To 28-chromosome group must be
added I. typhifolia.
Joyce, if you like to study better siberians you can buy Dr. C.McEwen's
perfect book "The Siberian Iris". It is simply available in USA. Ask Howard
Brookins who is also on our list.
