tridentata has been largely overlooked, but it is an
excellent garden plant. I don't know that a cross is actually possible,
but I would postulate that if such a cross did occur, a nice compact,
well-behaved Siberian type garden iris for the South could be developed.

I'm not familiar with I. Tridentata so am looking at a photo on Rodney Barton's page. At first glance, tridentata and Sib seem to have a number of features in common. 

Any idea what the C counts are?... not that it should matter much.
