I thank all those people who answered my questions regarding Mysterious
Monique. I now have a complete description, thanks to all of you, and
something about the culture. It was suggested that I water it daily until
the ground freezes. Is this what versicolors require? Do they require this
much water throughout the growing season? If so, I may need to keep it in a
pot. Our ground is a sandy loam which drains VERY quickly. Right now, with
the draught, it's dry for several inches down in some places, even with lots
of compost mixed in.
Would I need to water Shaker's Prayer this frequently as well?
