early Siberian delivery

From: "Harold Peters" <harold@directcon.net>

I stopped at the mail box on Wednesday as I was leaving for an overnight
business trip. I was more than mildly unhappy to have my first Siberian
shipment of the season in the mail box. (It was not from anyone in the
Siberian Robin.) Fortunately we are having an exceptionally mild summer.
Yesterday I started soaking them in the bags. Today I potted them in a 50%
sandy top soil, 50% compost mixture and the pots are soaking again in trays
filled with water until first thing in the morning. The pots will be moved
to the shade of a large oak tree. Since I wasn't expecting the plants for
another month, the planting area is not ready. The planting area is full sun
so I wouldn't have planted the new divisions there now no matter what. Any
other advice about what do? This is beside watering routinely and praying at
least occasionally.
