shade for Siberians in pots

From: "Harold Peters" <harold@directcon.net>

I have two frames that are the same height as the pots. I put the pots in
the frames starting on the south side. The frame shades the first row of
pots and then the other pots shade the rest of the pots from receiving any
direct sun on the sides of the pots. I cram the pots into the frames. TBs
are 150+ pots to a 5' x 8' frame. I grow 2000 to 3000 TBs in pots for what I
call "walk away" sales during the bloom season. I have two frames under the
oak as kind of a special nursery for plants to be protected from the sun. If
the temperatures are high, even the TBs go into this area initially until
forced out by more recently potted rhizomes. The system has worked well for
TBs. I just didn't want to use it for Siberians. I don't think Siberians in
pots would make it through a full summer.
