Re: Re: S-95-57-2

Hello all,
though having priority study photo of this seedling I felt shy  to suggest the name, but when some did it I am trying too.
Though color on the photo and in nature are some different, but looking once and once more to the scanned large *tif file, I found that the color and it nuances are very similar to those of white amber. From other hand when checked up the Iris check lists which I have, I found many names including "Amber", but not "White Amber". Maybe for people living in countries where amber is not found the term white amber is not well known. As living in amber country I know very well differences of transparent and white amber. Former of course is wonderful like fresh honey, but when you see in it mosquito, spider or other small insect stiffed in death  before million years it do excite. Next is not transparent and is of different shades from white to white cream, cream and blending at last to transparent form. All those nuances of white amber I see in this flower, but parents of this baby are Jan and Marty and only they can choose the best name.
