Re: TETRAPLOIDS - DIPLOIDS

Tetraploid Siberians have 56 Chromosomes, Diploids have
28 chromosomes, unless we're talking about Sino-
siberians, in which case Diploids have 40 chromosomes,
and Tetraploids have 80. Diploid Sino-Siberians can be
crossed with PCN's, Pacific Coast Natives, yielding
Calsibes, interspecies hybrids.
28 Chromosome Siberians can be crossed with Setosa iris,
yielding Sib-tosa hybrids.

Can anyone tell me what is the difference between these?   Are there others

Tets bigger?   Dips more fragrant?   Please someone explain this to me?
