Hi Barbara,
You can keep the siberian from being self pollinated, or pollinated
by anything you don't intend, by carefully removing the falls and
standards, leaving only the styles. Your chances of success with this
type of cross are very low but not nil. Jean Witt's Crimson Accent is
from this type of cross; it's a great little plant but not introduced
yet, I think. There was also something called Royal Californian, from
decades ago, which probably doesn't exist any longer.
