Hi Iris,
I am sure your visit to Mr. Tambergs garden will be
wonderful. Wish I could be there, too. I do not think it will be too late for
the Siberian irises as we are having an unusually cold and long winter this
year. I suppose our bloom season will be about two weeks later than in a
normal year.
Two years ago I purchased some of his irises and
they are beautiful. Several weeks ago I received some of his Siberian iris seeds
through the German iris society seed exchange. The crosses sound very
interesting. I hope I will have good germination on these seeds.
I hope you will post pictures of your Peter Hewitt
seedlings. Peter Hewitt is very pretty (I do not grow it but I saw a gorgeous
picture of it).
I thought about joining the British iris society
but I am not sure if I can pay the membership fees with Paypal or with a credit
card?
Regards
Anja
