I have selected some seeds from SIGNA which are designated 'tetra
Sibtosa' ex Thomas Tamberg I believe. Does anyone know anything about these
? I assume they are Open Pollenated seed from 'apparently' fertile
Sibtosa's. My research has yielded that the diploid and triploid sibtosa's
have very limited fertility, so perhaps conversion to tetraploidy has
improved this ?
Is there any chance these offspring would show any fertility with
'modern' Tetraploid Hybrid Siberians ?
TIA,
Chad Schroter
