Ken, your idea of growing sino-sibes in a kiddie pool sounds great. We found
one at the dump a few years ago and it's been taking up space under the
house. Now I have a reason for taking it out and burying it.
We dug a trench for a water fixture down in the field and found out just how
sandy our soil is. After going through a thin layer of sandy loam with
glacial rocks, we found pure beach sand with a few rounded rocks. In a few
yeard I'll let you know how it goes.
If anybody's interested, our website has been updated.
