Ken, your idea of growing sino-sibes in a kiddie pool sounds great.  We found 
one at the dump a few years ago and it's been taking up space under the 
house.  Now I have a reason for taking it out and burying it.  

We dug a trench for a water fixture down in the field and found out just how 
sandy our soil is.  After going through a thin layer of sandy loam with 
glacial rocks, we found pure beach sand with a few rounded rocks.  In a few 
yeard I'll let you know how it goes.
