Correct me if I'm mistaken, but isn't pink recessive to wine?

I would think that a bee pod on a pink would be likely to produce mostly (if
not all) wine colored seedlings since the pollen could have come from
anywhere.

Selfing should produce mostly pinks since you'd be doubling the recessive
color gene.
