Yes, it is shorter than any most of my other Siberians but that is
part of its charm. I have mine planted in the front of a mixed border
which is heavy on Siberians, bearded iris (mostly TBs), spec-x, lilium, 
daylilies and various perennials. Even have about 5 Japanese irises mulched 
in the back in a sort of 'ditch'. This is one of my
bigger gardens and MOON SILK captures everyone's attention. I am obviously 
entranced by it. I even wrote Hal Stahly about his irises because of MOON 
SILK and BALTIC STAR, a smaller TB in stature but not in the WOW factor. 
They convinced me to get all of Hal's 3 new Siberian introductions and also 
pant for his orange TB that was fabulous in Dallas - CELTIC HARP.

p.s. Dorothy and Tony - your MTB, FESTIVE GLOW was great and was the last 
MTB to say good-bye. It bloomed profusely on a one-year little
clump.
