Still bloomin' on July 18th


Last of the sibbies for the season for me: Butter and Sugar. Really did well
this year. The second flush was as big as the first, and still a couple of
buds remain. (I just wish that under my conditions the color had more butter
than sugar...it might as well be called an alba.)

Another repeater seems to be a youngish clump of Jewelled Crown. This one
really is nice looking and has another bud on the last stalk yet to come.

By the way, Jewelled Crown looks in every way like a tetraploid to me, but
it seems to me that I have seen it listed in a couple of places as being a
diploid. Anybody know for sure? I'd bet my lawnmower that its a 4n.
